The total investment of the reconstruction and expansion project is 150 million yuan. It mainly builds two new loading and unloading lines, covering a total area of about 300 mu, with a total length of track laying of about 2.2 kilometers. It also builds a 58800 square meter container yard, equipped with gantry crane, front crane and other large mechanical equipment, which mainly serves the loading and unloading and arrival and departure business of international trains, which will greatly improve the operation and operation efficiency of trains. The overall project is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of this year.
As a new battlefield with a total economic output of more than trillion yuan in our city, Shijiazhuang international dry port opened 212 international trains last year, transporting more than 60000 standard boxes at home and abroad, with a value of nearly 10 billion yuan. The number of international lines has been expanded to 10, covering more than 40 countries and regions in Russia, the European Union, Central Asia and ASEAN. This year, the number of international trains at Shijiazhuang international dry port is expected to exceed 600.

The expansion of railway dedicated line will help to improve the operation volume of international trains, enhance the competitiveness and attraction of international dry port as a national first-class railway logistics hub, and strengthen the role of Shijiazhuang as a dry port national logistics hub city.
