Hebei Land Port Group, whose business was started on May 6, 2014, is a modern and international logistics enterprise focusing on the construction of land ports and supplemented by the operation and management of multi-modal transport including seaports and airports. After many years of leapfrog development, it has grown into a professional land port service provider, a pace-setter in the construction and operation of China’s land port cluster and the supply chain service platform of “The Belt and Road”. It implements the strategy of “clearing passages, strengthening ports, building hubs, establishing networks, promoting trade, and gathering industries”, with the land port hub economy as the core and its industrial pattern covering land port construction, international logistics, cross-border trade, and digital technology.

Based on construction of land ports, the Group strengthens the international logistics hub platform. At present, it has built Shijiazhuang International Land Port, Hengshui International Land Port, Dingzhou International Land Port, and 100,000 ton berths of Huanghua Port in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and plans to build more nodal logistics centers in prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province. At the same time, it has also completed Yangquan International Land Port and Xianning International Land Port (an integrated gateway port along Yangtze River). The Group will continue to implement infrastructure construction and operation in functional sectors such as land ports, bonded areas, warehousing, and industries, and build complete infrastructure for land ports.

The Group takes international logistics as the link to build an international passage with multi-modal transportation. With the China-Europe Express as the core, it will provide integrated supply chain services including customs clearance, transportation, loading and unloading, warehousing service, financial services, and build an international multi-modal transport network. To the east, it cooperates with global ship companies to promote the connectivity between the sea and land, so as to realize the connection with the maritime Silk Road; to the west, it uses transnational railways to connect with the European Union and Central Asia, and promote the construction and development along the Silk Road; to the south, it opens ASEAN International express, and RCEP will cover ASEAN; and to the north, it passes through the border port and connects the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor. At present, a three-dimensional multi-modal transport system of “highway, railway, sea transportation and air transportation” has been built.

With cross-border trade as the core, the Group promotes the development of the industries that are located near the port or need railway transportation. It implements the strategy of “Facilitating trade by transportation, and integrating transportation and trade”, relies on the advantages of ports and routes, establishes cooperation with manufacturers and traders at home and abroad, gives full play to the functions of bonded logistics center, gathers advantageous resources of international commerce and trade, conducts international trading of grain, meat, wood, finished vehicles, etc., and promotes the aggregation and trading of bulk commodities in land ports. Besides, it vigorously implements cross-border e-commerce business and has built warehouses in pivot cities in Europe, Central Asia, ASEAN and other regions. It will also build automobile park, grain, oil & feed park, cross-border e-commerce park, cold chain logistics park, wood and building materials park and other industrial parks, which will be new highlands of openness and development.

The Group,by taking digital technology as the driving force, strives to build a modern intelligent logistics system. It implements the plan of “digit industrialization and industries digitalization”, i.e. it will build a network freight system with the help of modern information technology, promote the integration of digital economy and modern logistics, and comprehensively digitalize the industry. Moreover, it realizes data resources sharing, accelerates cost decreasing and benefit increasing, advances the digital development of modern commercial logistics industry by integrating upstream and downstream resources of the industrial chain.
